I am SO excited about sharing the Merk Family’s Mill Street Studios lifestyle family session to celebrate Justin’s 3rd birthday! Justin and his entire family are some of my favorite people! I’ve known Megan since college and have been photographing her family since Justin’s first birthday cake smash. I love watching both Justin and his brother, Chandler grow up with each session! When Megan, reached out about capturing photos for his third birthday, I was super excited to see everyone! We decided that the Bay Studio at Mill Street Studios to avoid the heat and unpredictable Ohio weather. 

Mill Street Studios Lifestyle Family Session

We walked up the flight of stairs to the Bay Studio and opened the door into a hallway that led to 3 different beautiful rooms. Both Justin and Chandler were so excited to explore the studio space. They ran around looking out all of the windows and they loved sitting on and re-rearranging all of the pillows. Justin would sit on the pillows for a couple of seconds and then be off to go look out the window at the trucks going by. They were a big hit with the boys!

There was a door in the studio that led into the room where Justin’s mom and dad were sitting on the sofa. We closed the door and then opened it and scared them! Both Justin and Chandler had the biggest smiles on their faces and we did this over and over again. They loved it!

Happy Birthday, Justin! Thank you for letting me chase you around the studio and capture your 3rd birthday! You’re growing up so much. I’m so glad I’ve FINALLY earned high-fives!
